An ex-Apple software designer claims that Steve Jobs personally shot several of the images presented as desktop pictures for 2007's Mac OS X Leopard. A new blog post claims that OS X Leopard. My guess is that you are using OS X 10.4 and I compiled the code on OS X 10.5. I don't have access to a 10.4 system so your only option is to upgrade or try to compile the code yourself. I'm trying to launch IntelliJ on command line in Mac OS X to use it's diff tool. Theoretically idea.sh diff file1 file2 should work. In practice there are some issues with the file which I think I worked around (removing some arguments to readlink etc). OS X Mavericks is quite good, and is at least optimized for most hardware. On a brand new Mac, OS X Yosemite runs quite well, however. Fortunately, most 2010 Macs came with physical reinstall DVD volumes of Mac OS X Snow Leopard, so you should be good to go with that. If your Mac operates on OS X El Capitan or later, make sure your software is up to date and move on to the next fix. Upgrade the RAM. If you run demanding or memory-hungry applications or if your Mac is getting old, it may need additional RAM or storage space.

To see the size of a specific file or folder, click it once and then press Command-I. To see storage information about your Mac, click the Apple menu in the top-left of your screen. Choose About This Mac and click the Storage tab. For Time Machine backups, it's good to use a drive that has at least twice the storage capacity of your Mac.
