This is another great experience of game dev.
Holes Movie the Game is a project produced entirely by SimmeredEggsStudios for the Brackeys 2020 Game Jam. Developers: ImmortalityBH and FantacticHD. Release Date 2/22/20 Version 1.0. Gameplay: Protect the last copy of The Holes Movie from oncoming waves of Karens and Satans. Use your CDs, candy shotgun, and soda grenades to give them hell. This is the first project I make while having works in the daytime. I could only work on the game at night time. I sacrificed many hours for sleeping. However, people will only care about the results. Never mind, let's talk back to the result. This game, to me, is the worthiest game I've ever made! It's worth for a week or even more of exhausting work. Because when I act as a player, playing the completed game for the first time. I feel so satisfied. Looking the little box-like creature animated adorably working around is so healing.

“Everybody loves [minigolf,] right? What about almost-golf?”
While I have a soft spot for golf games in general, I must say that I particularly enjoyed the ‘reverse concept’ of “One in Hole”. While the goal is still the same – getting the golf ball inside the hole -, you do not shoot the ball around in this jam submission. Instead, you control the movement of the hole with each of your shots, leading to a funny as well as clever level design.

The ten courses take quite an advantage of this idea of a ‘minigolf antithesis’: For example, the hole is able to swallow up different objects besides the ball like the winning flag. It will still stick out of the abyss after its consumption, making the hole able to kick the golf ball from higher platforms. In later stages, mice will also join the club. They will head straight to the hole to live inside it, affecting your shooting speed. These different mechanics make “One in Hole” not only a smart and hilarious puzzle title, but also a metagame, as it breaks with some traditions of the genre, forcing the player to view the levels from another perspective.
