Introduction:
„The Point of No Return“ is the story of Jennifer Turner, a mid-30's woman with a loving husband and a soon to be college bound daughter. Her idyllic smalltown existence is threatened when three fugitives decide to turn her home into a temporary hideout. Jennifer is faced with a decision: Cooperate with the intruders? Or resist them? How far will she go to protect her family? Are her actions going to jeopardize everything she holds dear?
Gameplay:
Jennifer will be confronted with various decisions during this Visual Novel. Over time, those decisions will lead her onto one of the three unique main routes.
So how will she act?
Defiant, confronting the antagonists at every possible turn? Maybe she'll instead try to deceive them into trusting her, waiting for that one opportune moment to strike. Or she'll just be submissive, hoping that this will be the best way to protect her family.
All of these are possible and each route will lead to the final question: Will Jennifer be able to overcome this situation? Or will she cross a line, one that'll never let her go back to her past life. A Point of No Return.
Some more details on what content to expect:
To get the elephant in the room out of the way first: Yes, NTR and sexual corruption are possible contents in this game, but also avoidable, depending on which decisions are chosen.
However, there are no 'safe' choices initially, every decision Jennifer takes will eventually lead to her having to deal with the fallout those decisions caused. Additionally, the different main routes the player will embark on will have their own sets of unique characters and scenarios, to give each route a very different feel.

Characters:
Jennifer Turner:
The main character of this story. Happily married with one daughter and working as a highschool librarian, she's a strong-willed 37-years-old woman. Having married very early due to getting pregnant while just out of highschool, she only ever has been seriously romantically involved with her husband.
Maya Turner:
Jennifer's daughter, who recently graduated highschool and is now on her way to college. This young adult may seem like a rebel on the outside, but her upringing in a relatively lower middle-class household formed her into a humble and dilligent person.
Stan Lambert:
Having been involved in a widely publicized kidnapping case, Stan Lambert was supposed to serve a long prison sentence. He, however, had a different plan and is now on the run with his two fellow fugitives. It also happens to be the case that the 38-years-old deliquent knows Jennifer from an incident in the past...
Christopher Aprile:
Christopher Aprile was practically born into organized crime, with his father having been a famous hitman for a mob outfit in upstate NY. However, a botched assassination attempt landed Chris in a California prison. Luckily for him, he made the acquaintance of a man who had a plan to escape the place, Stan Lambert.
Huang Jinrong:
The third of the escapees. Unlike his companions, Huang is the opposite of hot blodded. His former 'job' consisted of overseeing the gambling operations of a triad syndicate in the bay area, where cold, calculated reasoning guided his decision making.
Andy Turner:
Andy is the husband of Jennifer and Maya's father. Him and Jennifer were highschool sweethearts and ended up getting married when Jennifer got pregnant in their college junior year. As a university research assisstant, he sometimes has to travel to attend conferences and for his studies, which just happens to be the case at the start of this story.
Note:
It came to my attention that some antivirus programs in Windows, most notably Defender, pick this up as a trojan. Turns out that using a custom .exe icon for Renpy VN's can cause this problem, so I added another download option for a version of the game that doesn't have this icon and instead uses the default Renpy one.
This of course doesn't change anything in-game, but it should help people who get the antivirus warning for the normal version and don't want to simply trust a porn game dev when he tells them to just ignore the antivirus message (which is completely understandable).

Hi, I tried your game in android. i properly placed the folder in the obb then install the apk. When I started the game it forces me to back home screen, then sometimes it just loading screen then forcing me back again in home screen. Should I put the obb file in SDCard?
Can someone help me please? Does anyone downloaded it in Android?
You need to first install the apk file. Then you move the com.ds23.tponr folder into the obb folder in the android directory (It should look like this: root directory/Android/obb/com.ds23.tponr/main.16.com.ds23.tponr.obb
It's important to install the apk file before moving the folder to the obb directory, as some versions of Android apparently won't start the game otherwise.
Hope this helps.
The game has a problem with how it handles new/seen text. Replaying different choices in order to see different routes, large blocks of text are treated as 'new', even if only a few sentences or paragraphs are new in reality. This means you cannot use the 'skip seen text' option, and have to resort to 'skip all', which inevitably results in missing some text.

Just like all visual novels, only the actual new sentences should be treated as 'unseen', not the whole scene they are in. Currently this makes the game undesirable for multiple playthroughs.
More dudes then women and NTR? Take this fat 1 star.
Why'd your game drop off the recent lists? I was using it as a point of reference.
The trojan icon thing is something one of the other games I follow dealt with, they've fixed it too.
The game's called Monster Girl Dreams which can also be found on this site. Check their discord and ask around, if you still care to fix it.
Could also promote your game there if you like, just don't expect much reception because of the NTR
An interesting turn from the DnB that I've been hearing from you. It's rife with spontaneity, from soft water drops with some piano to a grinding distortion beat. I really didn't know what to expect. But the only time I thought a progression was too rough was when the glitchy drums and pad came in on 0:29. I don't normally offer a specific sound to use in my reviews, but I thought a subtle reverse reverb would have been perfect for that part and eased in the beat enough to not slightly startle some of the more wussy listeners like me.
Nothing wrong with having a sound that's relatively easy to make. What some people may consider to be overused, others may see it as a sort of signature style! Like Kirk Hammett and his wah pedals.
So when the crazy noise comes in, I'm simply blown away by it. I've always been biased towards cacophonous noise, and this piece certainly delivers. Favorite little part would have to be the falling bass at 1:18. It's a great fill that keeps the beat alive. Good job on taming the high ends in the mix. I know how easy they can ruin tracks like this one when they have even a little more presence than necessary.
Still felt a little bit of emptiness in some areas, even with the panning, but all in all, I like it! Any other crazy stuff in the works?
